Black Bear with Cute Cubs in the Wilderness - Episode 1 | Wildlife in 360 VR
A mother black bear and her three cubs traverse a grassy meadow, stopping briefly to forage. Black bears have litters every 2 years in good conditions, with 2-3 cubs typical in each litter. The cubs weigh only 1/2lb to 1lb at birth but grow quickly given sufficient food supply and can weigh up to 165lbs by their first fall. While the birth rate of male and female cubs is nearly 1:1, humans kill far more male bears than females and, as such, among the mature bear population there is often only one male for every 2-5 females. Filmed in 5K 360. Eastern Screech Owl Education with Nature's Educators | Wildlife in 360 VR
Devin Jaffe of Nature’s Educators describes the eastern screech owl, which are small crepuscular raptors. These birds tend to have a lighter colored beak than their cousins, the western screech owl. The facial dish of this type of owl is formed so that the feathers help filter sound into their asymmetrical ears. The left ear is slightly higher than eye level and the right ear is slightly lower which helps the owl to triangulate where a sound is coming from. Nature's Educators is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational wildlife organization based in Sedalia, Colorado. Nature’s Educators is licensed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service to care for non releasable birds of prey and their mission is to elevate the care and protection of wildlife by fostering memorable connections that inspire our community to become more environmentally conscious through collaboration, education, and rehabilitation. http://www.natureseducators.org Filmed in 5K 360 Youtube: http://bit.ly/subscribe-to-save-wildlife Facebook: http://facebook.com/wildlifeprotectionsolutions/ Instagram: http://instagram.com/wildlifeprotectionsolutions/ Amazon Smile: http://bit.ly/amazon-smile-wps Sign up to protect wildlife: https://wildlifeprotectionsolutions.org © 2020 Wildlife Protection Solutions - all rights reserved

Up Close with a Black-Footed Ferret | Wildlife in 360 VR
An up-close encounter with a black-footed ferret as it comes out of its burrow and then scurries away. This Fort Belknap black-footed ferret was marked with temporary hair dye because it was vaccinated against sylvatic plague and canine distemper (that way biologists know that individual has already been caught and they don’t need to catch it again). Filmed in 5K 360. Special thanks to WWF US and Fort Belknap Tribal Council, along with the Fort Belknap Fish and Wildlife Department.
